Hello all Can you tell me if this CPU would be compatible with my Asus Z97 Pro Gamer motherboard or if I would have to upgrade the motherboard as well? Thanks and greetings

For each mainboard, the manufacturer provides a list of which CPUs are supported and the required BIOS version. For the Asus Z97 Pro this would be https://www.asus.com/de... With this combination, however, you don't have to look there at all. The CPU and mainboard do not have compatible sockets (LGA1200 and LGA1150).
