Heat sink for SSD M.2
A passive cooling system for M.2 SSDs with a length of 80 mm and a height of just 5 mm, guaranteeing greater performance. Everything is included for easy installation: thermal pads and heat sink (IB-M2HS-701). First, the thermal pad is placed on the M.2, then the heatsink is placed on top. Thanks to its low height, the heatsink does not interfere with the installation and dissipates the heat very quickly. - Passive heatsink for SSD M.2 2280 - Improves the heat distribution of M.2 SSDs - Includes silicone heat pads for better heat conduction - Can be used on motherboards - Easy installation and removal, flat profile
Hoi Rodario
I looked at your question and unfortunately have to agree with you. I suspect that it is not enough, because the Heat Sink alone is 5mm. According to the packaging, the total height with the SSD is 8mm.
I took a look at your mainboard. It's an older one. Maybe you don't want to buy a newer one?
Here is my example:
I use my SSD with the Heat SInk with an Asus ROG Strix Z409-A gaming motherboard. It has two slots for SSD's M2.
The first is cooled by the motherboard itself and the second slot is not affected by the graphics card.
Sorry I can't give you better information.
Kind regards
