So CMV16GX4M1A2400C16(XMP) is the following memory and is a 1x 16GB memory module: Corsair DDR4 ValueSelect 16GB 2400MHz This one has 2x 8GB with the manufacturer number HX421C13SBK2/16. Basically this should work. In future, however, I recommend specifying the mainboard directly as a reference.
Part 2: As far as I know, this screen always appears with hardware problems. My question is whether it is the BIOS settings on the 2400 or whether the memory is defective. My mainboard is the Asus Maximus Hero 7. Thanks for your feedback
And another thing, in the specs of the Intel i7 it says that it supports max. 2133 MHz RAM. Does that mean that the RAM's are slightly throttled or is the CPU clock increased a little?
