According to our product experts, since June the devices are only delivered with the revised cables, which also work with AMD processors.

I bought my Reverb G2 in December and already received the V2. So the probability of getting a V1 at Digitec is probably zero if you buy a new one.
I don't think so. My model delivered in September 21 still had the old cable from HP, although there was a change to eliminate the problems with Ryzen CPUs. However, HP delivered it directly to me
This is already the Rev 2. was a silent update without new product number but since June 2021 all glasses V2 are with the new cable.

from what I've seen on YouTube, if the helmet has 2 parts (the part with the nose can be detached from the rest), it's the V.2

According to the information we have, it should be the V2 with a revised cable.
We can confirm that we have the V2 version from our suppliers.

Out of all VR Headsets the reverb has the worst controller tracking on the market. If flying a sim or a driving a race game it’s great but….. play any game standing up or needing the controllers forget it. Absolutely rubbish. Keeps going out of sync and pairing…. Loosing tracking. I have a rift, rift S, reverb G2, and vive. G2 is great but the controller issues are not acceptable considering every other Headset company manages to have this fixed at release. Honestly they should have recalled the G2 because I think the new G2 model has been repaired but not sure.
I have received Rev. 2. Apparently, however, there is unfortunately still a certain residual risk, as various suppliers deliver and it cannot be ruled out that there are still old stocks somewhere.
The package comes with a DE plug, which is why an adapter is necessary, everything else is already included in the package.
Yes, my Reverb is already the G2 version and the Casket is already in two parts to improve the FOV.
