Questions about HP Reverb G2 V1 incl. 2 motion controllers

HP recently (2021.10) released a new version of the G2 with a few notable improvements. How do we tell the difference in the digitec shop, which one is the new one?

Great, in your blog you complain about the PS 5 and Xbox Series X resellers, but charge such rip-off prices yourself. Anyone who buys at this price should take a quick look at the competition and get angry.

How do you come up with the price of CHF 1000 when HP itself offers the VR headset for $599? This gives Oculus, as a Swiss shop, the advantage directly, without HP having anything to do with it 🙄

How the hell do you come to 999 ? At brack it is available for 699 incl. controller and via DE or direct import it is also at that price. I would have ordered it from you, but that's an absolute cheek.

Move on Digitec are taking the piss. I pre-ordered the headset in September, I was promised it would arrive in October, then November then December, twice they said in stock at the supplier ready to be sent the next day only to tell me that: ah low no!!!! The statue of my order that was supposed to be shipped yesterday is now scheduled for .... February!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this version of the HP headset the corrected version? Is this the second version with the new cable? Cat the first one had problems with the X570 motherboard and AMD processor. Can you confirm the version of your products, and if not do you have the new cables for AMD pc owners?

Is the delivery date at Digitec also at the beginning of November? If not, I'll order them from Brack (sorry, I don't want to wait 1-2 weeks longer for the same price).

What about the right to return this product? I want the latest revision of the product and Digitec also said it was the latest revision. Can I open the package and return it if it is not the latest version?

Is the model the version 2 (with the removable spacer and the On/Off button on the USB box). Version 2 is more powerful and optimised. Amongst recent buyers (July-August 2022), can anyone confirm that they have received the HP Reverb G2 V2 version?

For all those who are unsure whether they are getting a v1 or v2. I ordered the G2 on 18.2.2022 and received the revised v2 with two-piece facemask and new cable. According to the S/N, the date of manufacture is week 46 2021, so it can be assumed that it is a V2 from at least this date (possibly even before). The date of manufacture can be deduced from the serial number on the box (XXX999XXXX), where the date of manufacture is given instead of 999. In my case, for example, 146 for 2021, week 46. I hope this helps some of you, as the communication from Digitec has not been clear so far.

Is the version sold here already the improved version with 6m cable, improved tracking and 9mm/15mm face mask adjustment option?

This isn't clear at all, is this the HP reverb g2 version 2 or version 1? Compared to the V1, the V2 apparently has tracking improvements, a different 'facial interface' (I.e the plastic and foam in contact with the face has been revised) and also, the new cable. So do we get the V2 with all these improvements I listed above, or the V1 with perhaps just the new cable and nothing else ?
