The fan on my device gave up the ghost after a short time (suddenly made rattling noises). I sent it in 2 months ago (it was registered as "received" on 21.7.22) and still have no date from Digitec when I will get it back.

Yes, I am sorry about that. I'm not surprised that there has been no reply from HP. I couldn't do a memory upgrade on my machine. The PC then no longer started up. HP was overwhelmed and had to deliver me a new device. But it took 3 months until I got it. I went directly to HP support for the case. Patience is necessary with HP. Today there are problems with the supply chains anyway.

I bought the Elitedesk 800 G6. I am very satisfied with it. However, I would now like to upgrade to 16 GB RAM. My problem is that the housing cover cannot be opened. I am not a newcomer in this area. No problem with previous models. I can't find any documentation on this either. Documentation on this. Can anyone help me?

I have purchased the HP EliteDesk 800 G6 - 1D2M3EA. Which of the 7 display ports is connected to the nVidia GeForce graphics card? Device always reports "You are not currently using a display connected to an NVIDIA GPU". Thanks for the feedback!

comes with powerbrick, you dont have to buy separately. i also added 1× HPE HP DVD-Writer separately. HPE HP DVD-Writer

According to HP there is a 5 year warranty on this model, why does Digitec.ch only give 2 years? There are other warranty options but unfortunately they have to be paid for, for a product of this price class at least the 5 year warranty should be self-evident. Quote HP: "5-year limited manufacturer's warranty and service on parts, labour and on-site repair (5-5-5). Terms and conditions vary by country. Some limitations may apply."

The 2-year warranty refers to Digitec itself, i.e. bring-in. The 5-year warranty applies to HP, i.e. after the 2 years at Digitec, the computer still has a 3-year warranty at HP.
