According to HP there is a 5 year warranty on this model, why does Digitec.ch only give 2 years?
There are other warranty options but unfortunately they have to be paid for, for a product of this price class at least the 5 year warranty should be self-evident.

Answer

The 2-year warranty refers to Digitec itself, i.e. bring-in. The 5-year warranty applies to HP, i.e. after the 2 years at Digitec, the computer still has a 3-year warranty at HP.
