Yes it is. I use it with the Yi 4K. With the Yi 4k and 4k+ you can use all mounts from and for GoPro.
Since the product is attached to the helmet with an adhesive strip, I doubt that it will hold. But you can certainly help it along with a suitable adhesive if you need to.
The connections/mounts on all GoPro's are identical, so it also works with this mount.

Why expensive? It costs exactly the same at Gopro itself... whereas shipping is more expensive at Gopro than at Digitec...
It is only a support to stick on your own helmet.
No problem, it's just the connecting piece to the cam or housing. So everything is standard.

Yes, because the Hero 9 is a bit bigger, it is very close to the helmet when mounted on the side. Otherwise no problem.
