Hoi - I don't have this exact rutting belt, but a very similar NoName for out on the water - but I wouldn't want to use it directly on the skin myself, because it has rubber inserts and rips a little. If you have a diving suit on, then yes, sure, it works - I personally wouldn't feel comfortable with it directly on my skin.
