According to our information, this is a round cable.
I have these together with my system.
With the 2.5 you are well on your way.
I also doubt that anyone in the private sector will notice the difference between 1.0 and 2.5.
Always remember, it's like a water hose, the thinner it is, the less it gets through :)

There is no difference between the two, the purchase price from the supplier was not the same for all colours unfortunately.

I have just measured. The dimensions of the cable cross-section are 4mm x 7.8mm.
It is 2 x 2.5mm2.
