This product says CI slot and then Common Interface again. If it really does have a Common Interface integrated, this means that I don't need anything else for satellite reception of Swiss programmes using the SRF Smartcard. I would like to know this for sure so that I do not have to send the device back. Kind regards Hansueli Berger

That is correct, a receiver and the card with the Viaccess module are required.

Has anyone had success using the unit with a Sat Access card (SRF)? The receiver does not seem to recognise the card (which worked without problems with the previous model "Vote 2").

The Golden Media Vizard HD Vote 4 cannot process Viaccess internally. The card reader can only process Conax. For the SRG Sat Access card, a Viaccess Cam such as the Helveti Cam is required.
