The default BIOS of this motherboard does not support the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X out of the box. A BIOS update is required to enable support for the 9600X processor. Gigabyte released BIOS updates in 2024 to prepare AM5 motherboards, including this model, for Ryzen 9000 series CPUs such as the 9600X, with performance improvements and compatibility added after the initial release.
