Can it only be used with the charging cable? Question because when I disconnect the charging cable it has no battery and does not switch on...when it is on and I disconnect the cable it switches off immediately

Hi Madeleine - I no longer have the Geoflex. The GeoFlex is much too slow to start up until you can use the GeoFlex. Any Occassion PC is faster. I only wanted to use the GeoFlex for internet recipes and listening to music. A tablet is of better use. Regards MS.

Is the laptop compatible with a pen? I would need something to take to meetings (Word/excel/PDF) where I could also write by hand. Thanks for the help

The panel installed here is not intended for use with pens. Functions such as Microsoft Handwriting to Text are unfortunately not supported. In principle, a universal pen could work (which imitates finger pressure), but unfortunately you will not achieve more with it than with direct finger pressure.
