Now you even have 56.30 instead of 66.-. More (or less) than you wanted :) But with the current supply bottlenecks, the surcharge wouldn't be so absurd, only Galaxus wouldn't display it so obviously ;) "Get it now: +20% for Galaxus"

The Garmin Speed and Cadence Sensor 2 is generally compatible with most Garmin Edge devices as it uses ANT+. However, it is advisable to check the specific compatibility on the Garmin website as the list of compatible devices may vary. If the Edge 540 is not explicitly listed, it may be helpful to consult the official Garmin documentation or contact Garmin directly.

If there is no GPS reception, the speed and therefore also the distance will continue to be displayed if the speed sensor is present. However, the wheel circumference should be determined as precisely as possible so that the display is accurate. The cadence sensor could be used to train according to cadence. Both are not mandatory and are nice to have

Google for "garmin speed sensor 2 user manual". In the section "Pairing the speed sensor with your smartphone" it says that this is possible with the Garmin Connect app. I have not tried this myself. I don't know if this also works with the cadence sensor and if/how you can use the sensor data (e.g. save it in third-party apps).

I have paired the sensor with my Garmin Fenix 5 and it works without any problems. The same applies to the cadence sensor.
