The product mentioned is offered by a third-party retailer via our platform, over whose prices we have no influence. Therefore, there may be price differences between our prices and those of third-party retailers. However, we used to have the product on sale ourselves at a much lower price.

Personally I have a Garmin Tandem dashcam, but looking at the 57 everything suggests that it's OK.

Yes, unfortunately you are right, you need the Garmin Low-profile Magnetic mount for every other vehicle. I find this to be poorly solved by Garmin. Just so that the factory-used USB cable is nowhere to be found. The tried and tested suction cup worked well for years and was, in my opinion, part of the standard delivery service of the dashcam.
