Questions about Garmin eTrex 32x

BaseCamp is a free tool from Garmin that allows you to easily exchange gpx tracks and waypoints bidirectionally between your computer and the eTrex32x and to manage tracks and waypoints on a computer.

I have the Garmin PN3053. Garmin PN3053 This already served me well with the eTrex 30 and now also with the eTrex 32x.

All NiMH batteries of size AA should fit. I use the etrex 32x with Eneloop batteries (formerly made by Sanyo, now Panasonic), but also the Ikea LADDA 2450. Both fit, although it has to be said that the battery compartment is relatively short in length (presumably to prevent wobbly contacts when shaken in use - it is an outdoor device after all) and the batteries, which tend to be minimally longer than normal batteries, sit quite snugly in the battery compartment.
