Gardena Smart Sileno City 600

It seems that, apart from the cutting surfaces, the two models are very similar. As a general rule, prices are set according to supply and demand, but also depend on suppliers and availability of goods. As these can vary on a daily basis, a 'price trend' tool is available on each item's page to give a better idea of these fluctuations over the past few months. In this case, it seems that the price of the Smart Sileno City 600 is lower than usual. :)
Is compatible with the Bluetooth App from Gardena, unfortunately I can't tell you the rest.
So far I have only five years' experience with a Sileno Smart city 500, and I am very satisfied. From what I understand, the main difference between the models is the autonomy and therefore the capacity of the battery. The cutting system is the same, and if the result is not as expected (uncut patches) just increase the working time. It is important to cut regularly, ideally 6 days a week with a day off for the lawn. However, the GARDENA instructions are clear and easy to follow.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer the required accessories separately in our range. It is the wheel with spare part number 00059-05.871.01 and hub cap 00059-06.602.01.
Unfortunately, we only offer the Smart Sileno City with gateway in our range.
I have also enquired about the Robi, which is unfortunately not available separately, and now I have a spare gateway in case the existing one gives up the ghost
The scope of delivery includes 150 metres of boundary wire.
Yes, it still needs the guide wire. I guess the reason is gps doesn‘t have 100% accuracy (yet!) but I‘m not aware of the other solutions that don‘t require the guide wire.
It's the other way round, the 600 is cheaper. The price of the 600 is actually significantly higher. Presumably better purchasing, or even more likely, the market pressure on the 600 is higher and Digitec is foregoing margins in order to remain competitive.
Yes, there was one in my box.
According to our information, there is no new model from Gardena for the 2024 gardening season.
Unfortunately, we do not offer the Gardena Smart Sileno City 600 as a single product.🙁 Perhaps the manufacturer can help you directly with your request.🫡
The following is included in the scope of delivery for this item: smart gateway Boundary wire 150m 200 hooks 5m low voltage cable
https://www.gardena.com/ch-de/service/mahroboter-beratungscenter/mahroboter-installationsfilme/ As far as I know, at least one guide wire must be laid in the ground from the charging station to the area to be mown. In this way, several independent (non-contiguous) lawns can be served by one robotic lawnmower.
No, you always need the boundary wire, but you can lay it above ground without any problems.
Yes, the gateway is included and the system works wonderfully
Certainly, the power plug is different and the CH version has programmes that can be selected via the app.
Is the charging station included with the Gardena Smart Sileno City 600? If not, where can I buy it?
According to our information, this is included.
Yes, it is included. The unit works fine. The boundary/lead wire must be laid approx. 5 cm into the ground (this works well with a round lawn cutter). If it is only laid superficially, it can be cut during gardening (e.g. scarifying).
