Firmware! You have to buy a router as a CH because of the deviating VDSL in Switzerland. With WLAN it is not critical, the few small deviations in the specifications do not matter. It may be that you only have an English web interface with the international version.

Have a look at the avm.de page under Connecting FRITZ!Repeaters with routers from other manufacturers. Swisscom can certainly provide information on whether or which repeaters work with the Swisscom Wlan Box.

Pricing (everywhere) is made up of several factors. Galaxus employees have often written that price changes are, for example, daily price adjustments that develop from the conditions of the respective suppliers, among other things. The current price also depends on such factors. But I understand what you mean in principle.

There are many fun functions with the device. I only use it as a WLAN antenna that is plugged into the LAN because my fibre optic Fritzbox hardly steels the fuse and fibre optic box of the flat to the outside. According to the manual, however, it should be possible to connect. As well as Mesh WLAN. You can find more detailed information at the manufacturer AVM: https://avm.de/service/fritzwlan/fritzrepeater-3000/wissensdatenbank/publication/show/1486_FRITZ-Repeater-im-FRITZ-Box-Heimnetz-einrichten/

Is the repeater also DECT capable?

No, this repeater is only suitable for WLAN expansion and has no DECT module integrated. If the DECT network is to be expanded, AVM Fritz!Dect Repeater 100 can be used.
