With a USB C cable and Lightning adapter, this should work - however, the codex in the BTR5 should then switch from AAC to LDAC, but it doesn't do this for me. You also have AAC without a cable with BT.

The Fiio BTR5 can be used as an audio source in the car or on the stereo system at home. In both scenarios, the stereo system only needs an AUX input for playback, where the BTR5 is connected via cable. I.e. if your home stereo has an AUX input (usually a coaxial/ RCA connection), the BTR5 can be used as an audio source. (Often another input on the stereo system can be used, it does not have to be AUX).
