On the document shredder, the Safe Sense sign lights up all the time. Even when no finger is near. How can this problem be solved? No papers are processed as long as the light is displayed.

Question@Voyager7 (bought this product) 06.05.2018: Hello Voyager7 How well does your machine still shred a year after purchase? According to your comment, CD shredding was also possible without any problems.... I would also only want to shred a CD/DVD with it from time to time.... My question: Will this damage the machine in the long run or are you still satisfied with the performance? Thank you very much for a short update :) "Good machine, was on offer at a good price. I am extremely satisfied. No problem shredding the prescribed maximum number of paper pages. Staples do not interfere. Of course, no problem with CDs and credit cards either. + shreds everything - nothing found so far".

Hello Voyager7, I use the Fellowes Powershred for private use and only for paper. Unfortunately, I can't give you any information about CD/DVD. I am satisfied with it for paper.
