How well does your machine still shred a year after purchase?
According to your comment, CD shredding was also possible without any problems.... I would also only want to shred a CD/DVD with it from time to time....
My question: Will this damage the machine in the long run or are you still satisfied with the performance? Thank you very much for a short update :)

I am extremely satisfied. No problem shredding the prescribed maximum number of paper pages. Staples do not interfere. Of course, no problem with CDs and credit cards either.

Hello Voyager7, I use the Fellowes Powershred for private use and only for paper. Unfortunately, I can't give you any information about CD/DVD. I am satisfied with it for paper.
