At the time, I hadn't found a camera directly integrated into the solution that had the functions I wanted (no cloud, purely local solution, etc.).
I opted for OnVif cameras (standard protocol for IP cameras) with a Synology NAS with the surveillance station module installed. In use, this turned out to be a much better solution than any equivalent Cloud option, which ends up costing a lot in subscription fees.
The cameras I chose are unfortunately no longer available, despite their excellent quality, but choose cameras with the highest possible resolution and a very wide optical aperture, which are much more effective than PTZ. Unless the location is always very well lit, choose cameras with infra-red mode (0 lux).
Yes, you can expand with the wireless EufyCam 2, for example.
Eufy currently offers a set with 17 different components for Homebase 3, but I don't know what the upper limit is.
Good day
All alarms are only triggered via the Homebase, including the motion detector! The door alarm and the motion detector react independently.
