There are 2 separate arms, one for the screen and one for the keyboard holder. The "mousepad" is part of the keyboard holder and can be extended sideways. The payload should therefore be indicated per arm. The screen arm here is one step heavier than the single screen mount from ergotron. The keyboard arm is the same as the single-screen version, just with the shelf instead of the monitor holder. A 34" widescreen from asus (about 11kg) was already hanging without any problems with the single variant. I am convinced that a 49" will also hold securely on the large arm. However, consider where you want to mount the pole. Both arms are mounted on the same pole, which develops quite a bit of force when the screen is hanging on the extended arm and the user is leaning on the keyboard. In general, I am very satisfied with the quality of ergotron. The parts are solid and stable. I've been looking for a long time and haven't found a better product.
