EQ-3 Starter set smoke detector
Hello, no that is not correct, the Assasspoint simply needs an internet connection to access the Clowdserver. Nothing more. Within the system, the connection is wireless, not Wi-Fi. You can also be in the office or anywhere in the world and access your system via the app.
Hello, yes it is possible to manage the detectors via the app yes I get the notifications on my smartphone. I still have to figure out how to make it ring when my phone is in "do not disturb" mode yes I can deactivate alarms, by sensors via the app. yes, I need the hub
In my case it was the type HmIP-SWSD was included.
It's included in the starter set, you can't do without it. Just a tip. Lidl also has such starter sets on sale from time to time. Although it says SilverCrest on it, it is 100% compatible with Homematic IP. It's more or less a brand problem. Costs about 1/3 - half of the products offered here. But the system is awesome.
I cannot answer this question conclusively. The following two statements can be read in the operating instructions: 1) The smoke alarm device must be tested thoroughly at the installation site to ensure that it can reach other smoke alarm devices in the radio network and, if necessary, the Access Point by radio under all circumstances. 2) The radio range (type: radio free-field range) of the Homatic IP Access Point is 400m. From my point of view, it is not clear from the operating instructions whether it must be within range of the IP Access Point. I use the smoke alarms in a single-family house over three floors (access point too low) and have full reception everywhere.
No, the picture does not show the ccu3 but the gateway which is included in the scope of delivery.
You see that correctly. An alarm is passed on to the networked smoke detectors and all of them trigger an acoustic alarm. In an emergency, the smoke detectors communicate without the Access Point after they have been taught and connected.
The manual says that the batteries last 10 years. Of course, this depends on how often the smoke detector sends out an alarm. The battery cannot be replaced. Therefore, the smoke detector must be replaced when the battery is empty. Up to 40 smoke detectors can be networked. You can network them with the help of the instructions. Mount the smoke detector on the ceiling, connect the mobile phone app to the control panel and the smoke detector can be activated and assigned to a room. The smoke detector has a test button to test the alarm and to check the communication with the other detectors.
Hello I don't know if you can switch off the alarm with the app. I have to set off the alarm first 😊 But only 1 access point is included in this bundle. But it goes a long way. I now have 10 smoke detectors connected and it still works. But it should say somewhere when you need the big control panel. After all, it's only a starter kit.
It is a set including the Access Point :-)
