Elgato Green Screen
Elgato Green Screen
I have been using the green screen for a few months now and I take it apart and put it together every day. There is no sign of wear and tear.
Abmessungen: B x H (ausgeklappt) 148 cm x 180 cm https://www.elgato.com/de/gaming/green-screen
We were able to find the following information: Green Screen MT sets new standards in professional chroma keying. The resilient screen made of high-quality Dacron ®-by DuPont fibres rolls out crease-free, and the specially optimised green ensures the best possible chroma keying. No seams. No ripples or bumps. Just pure perfection from edge to edge.
It's a bit tight, but it's enough.
I think you should be able to solve this by calibrating the green of the screen on your camera or in the software. In Zoom, for example, the green can be calibrated so that other colours than the screen are completed. Ideally, the screen is evenly lit.
Hang this one from the ceiling and place the other one on the floor.
This is quite good, but must be placed relatively close to the back, otherwise the width is not covered. Otherwise, no assembly work is necessary, as this can be placed on the floor and then pulled out steplessly upwards (also recommended for low rooms...).
Yes, everything is included.
You can use this or any x green screen for the PC :)
One thing in advance: In principle, MS Teams is very good at hiding the background. However, it requires the same as a green screen: Appropriate lighting. The screen should be evenly lit, otherwise there will be too many green tones and you will have to set the filter in the software with more tolerance (which is then also not ideal, as noise usually results). There are different approaches to lighting. I myself have simple spot lamps that are aligned accordingly, others use front lights or more complicated solutions. Besides the illumination, a wrinkle-free colour surface is important. Thanks to the construction of the Elgato, the screen is well supported and taut when it is pulled up. That's why I no longer use my simple fabric screen and have treated myself to the Elgato. In your case, I would check whether you can do something with the light before you treat yourself to a green screen and then be disappointed. If you're planning to get a green screen "one way or the other", then you can't go far wrong with the Elgato. It's easy to store, it's quick to set up and the workmanship is top-notch in my opinion.
On the manufacturer's page you can see a picture for mounting on the wall and ceiling https://www.elgato.com/de/gaming/green-screen-mt
Heyhey From my own experience I can say that this greenscreen certainly works better if it is additionally illuminated. (This is the case with pretty much all greenscreens). If you are looking for something a little more expensive, but of high quality, then I recommend the Elgato Key Lights. Elgato Key Light (PC) Otherwise, any softbox in the lower price segment will do. ;) Greetings Flo
The screen itself is 148cm width and fully exposed 180cm height (you can adjust the height to your need) The Base (where the screen is stored) is 164.5 cm width, 10.5cm height, 11.5cm depth. Note: For stabilization when the screen is unfolded, two pedestal must be unfolded, which takes up about 16cm space on each side, which means about 45cm of floor space is required.
Good morning, 100% polyester (Dacron by DuPont).
So the picture speaks for itself that this is a floor model. I ordered this model especially for this purpose. You could hang it up on the handle, but that doesn't make sense. It stands well and securely...and can be set up very quickly.
