This is very individual, as each ear perceives it differently. The frequency range of the speakers starts at 55 Hz and goes up to 20 kHz. Therefore, they should not cause any noise even at low volume. However, as I said, this can be very individual :-)

Yes, you can replace the cable that connects the speakers with a longer cable. It is important that the new cable is of the same quality and specification as the original cable so as not to affect the sound quality. A suitable replacement cable should be suitable for connecting speakers and have the same connection types.

You cannot connect the Technics turntable directly to the Edifier R1280DB speakers without using an amplifier. The Edifier R1280DB speakers require an audio signal amplifier as they do not have the phono pre-amplification necessary to amplify the weak signal from a turntable. You would need to use either a separate phono preamplifier or an amplifier with integrated phono preamplification to pass the signal from the turntable to the speakers.

I wish you bon appétit ;-) I have found this for now: https://edifier-online.com/de/de/accessories/r1280db-remote-controller Maybe Digitec is a service provider who would order this RC10E remote control.

Edifier also has a subwoofer called the T5 in its range: Edifier T5 (1 pc., 70 W) There are also alternative solutions with the PreSonus, there are special subwoofers designed for this.

This is an active speaker pair with integrated Bluetooth and with connection options (optical and coaxial connection). For example, you can connect this model to a TV, PC or connect it to a mobile phone.

Hello I use the speakers on my PC and also for gaming, but also to listen to music. This is either on the PC or via BlueTooth from my watch or smartphone. As far as your requirements are concerned, it will certainly work with the Samsung TV. Either via copper cable, optical or via BlueTooth, if the TV supports BlueTooth.

I mostly use the speakers with the optical input. Occasionally, I also listen to music (including radio) via my iPhone 8, which works without problems. Unfortunately, I could not find out whether the speakers support the A2DP standard. Since the abbreviation A2DP stands for "Advanced Audio Distribution Profile" and this has been supported on the iPhone since iOS version 3, it can be assumed that the Edifier R1280DB speakers support this standard. After all, they are built specifically for audio...! At this point I would like to point out, as I did in the review, that the remote control is one big disappointment. It is of absolutely cheap quality. I therefore rarely use the remote control and use the controls and switches directly on the right speaker to switch on/off, adjust the volume and select the input channel.

Hello Hannoscholtz, 1. the length of the power cable is not specified, 2. the speakers are connected to each other with cables, he only needs a Bluetooth connection with the active speakers, you can find more info here https://cdn.ventmere.com/edifier-dev/uploads/2017-09/R1280DB--User%20manual_HJpHrir5b.pdf

When I played Modern Warfare with the speakers for the first time, I was fascinated! They really pack a punch and still offer clear sound! Are there any settings on the PS4? The speakers are definitely not too quiet! In some situations, however, I would like more bass. However, I/you would have to choose a different model for that. I'm not an audiophile, but the sound is very convincing!
