The Dreame X50 Ultra Complete can use basic functions without Wi-Fi as it has physical buttons for control. However, a Wi-Fi connection is required for full functionality (cleaning schedules, voice control, app settings) as these features are controlled via the app or smart home systems such as Alexa/Google Assistant. Important details: - Physical buttons: Start/stop and return to the charging station are possible directly on the robot. - Limitations: No cleaning schedules, no app control and no voice commands (via Alexa/Siri/etc.) work without Wi-Fi. - Network requirements: The device requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi - in case of connection problems, check the signal strength (-42 dB in one test case). If you do not have WLAN, manual control via the device buttons is still possible, but many automation functions are not available.

The fresh and dirty water tanks in the Dreame X50 Ultra Complete are part of the base station and are emptied automatically. There is no indication that these tanks can be removed in the robot itself. The base station takes care of emptying and maintaining the tanks, which offers users a great deal of convenience.

Good morning chris62zh, I have the same question. I have searched for mop robot cleaner at digitec/galaxus and only get the products from Biochem recommended. Unfortunately, it doesn't say anywhere whether these are suitable for our X50 or not. I think an enquiry to DREAME will also come to the conclusion that we should buy the original cleaner. So there would be two of us looking for an alternative. Best wishes and have fun with your X50 😉

The Dreame X50 Ultra Complete (vacuum mopping robot) is basically suitable for various floor types, including oak parquet. Here are some relevant features that emphasise its suitability: - Automatic water regulation and liftable mop pads: these functions make it possible to regulate the moisture of the mop pads and lift them when necessary to prevent the parquet from getting too wet and avoid damage. - Configurable cleaning programmes: You can customise the cleaning schedules and settings to ensure the appliance cleans gently and efficiently on your oak flooring. - Carpet detection and obstacle detector: These functions help to ensure that the appliance distinguishes between different floor types and avoids obstacles, making it particularly useful for sensitive floors such as oak parquet. However, it is always advisable to follow the manufacturer's specific operating instructions and recommendations to ensure the best performance and protection of your floor.
