Helpful answer

The SIM card from the Doro 6520 can be used in the Doro 2820 as long as both devices support the same SIM card type. The Doro 2820 uses a single SIM, typically in standard or micro SIM format. As the Doro 6520 is also an older model, it most likely also uses a standard or micro SIM. It is therefore usually possible to change the SIM card directly. However, it is important to check whether the SIM card physically fits into the SIM slot of the Doro 2820 and whether the mobile phone standard (4G on the 2820) is supported by the network operator. The Doro 2820 supports 4G, which is not always the case with older models such as the 6520. If the SIM card is enabled for 4G, it should work in the 2820.

Yes, I bought the Doro 2820 a few weeks ago and activated it with a Swisscom prepaid for my father. He makes calls on the Swisscom network without any problems.

No. It's just a phone with SMS/MMS and a camera. I think you can still listen to the radio. I bought the phone for my 84-year-old father. It has an SOS function button.
