Can 2 of these cards be connected at the same time?

I would like to replace the Promise PDC40718 card in my self-built NAS. It runs ZFS on Archlinux. Is this Digitus a good replacement? With the Promise, the bandwidth is limited to 30MB/sec when I do a ZFS scrub, for example.

The card runs under Linux. But I could only get a single one to work. The parallel connection did not work. Speeds of the disks in the benchmark, was similar to the board controllers.

Is the support for the larger hard drives still missing? I read in a review below that only hard drives under 4TB are supported, but it's been 3 years since the comment and I need more S-ATA III ports, this expansion card looks attractive.

Hello. As far as I can see, no, unfortunately not. The limitation comes from the installed Marvell 9230 chip....
