Is it possible that Devolo adapters do not work with each other? I have four adapters 2x 500Mbit and a more powerful 2500 (2x), unfortunately these do not work with each other....Can this be or am I doing something wrong=? If so what, I can't imagine that you can do that walsch. :-)

They should actually be compatible with each other. Let's see if all adapters use the HomePlug AV standard. The devolo Magic series seems to be an exception, as it probably uses a different standard. Otherwise, this really shouldn't be a problem. It's best to check the Devolo website otherwise... Greetings...

Hello, I bought the product and installed it according to the instruction booklet. However, according to speedtests, it only transmits approx. 10 Mbit/s instead of 550 Mbit/s. If I have my PC directly connected to the Lan cable, the download rate is 950 Mbps, so it is not the provider's fault. Is it possible that this is a case of damage or whether a driver has to be installed during the installation?

Powerline can, but does not have to work. The 500 Mbit/s is a value from the laboratory and is anyway a gross figure that cannot be achieved in real life. In addition, the possible net data rate is much lower with Powerline than with a LAN cable. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki... https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki... Power lines are the worst possible data conductor and are only misused for this purpose by Powerline. - Try other socket/s - Use only the sockets in the wall. A possible mistake was perhaps to take the cheapest models with 500 Mbit/s according to the motto "500 is enough...". The models with a higher speed (>1000) have newer technology and can therefore possibly achieve a better result.

If I connect my devices to a Devolo dLan, then logically I no longer have wLan on my TV or whatever I want to connect. This means that the control via smartphone no longer works. Is that correct?

However, the devices do not communicate directly (smartphone <--> TV) with each other. Even if both communicate via WLAN, this is done via the router (smartphone <--> router <--> TV). Thus, as a rule, it does not matter whether: Smartphone <--Wifi--> Router <--Wifi--> TV or Smartphone <--Wi--> Router <--LAN/dLAN--> TV

A special case: I live on the 3rd floor and have a small cellar compartment. In the basement, there is a socket on the wooden door that is connected to a power cable. My question: Will it work if I plug the adapter into a power strip? I only have one socket, which I need for light. So I would plug the adapter into the power strip. What do you think, could this work? I work in the basement from time to time, so I don't need internet for streaming or gaming, the main thing is that I can install updates or use the internet for a short time now and then. So I don't have any big demands. At the moment I don't have internet in the basement. What do you think, will that be possible? I don't want to buy the adapters for nothing. Many thanks in advance :)

Is it now possible to have lan in one or two separate rooms if my wifi box is in a third room? So is there now one plug from the wifi box to the socket and one from the socket to the pc? Or how? Greetings nico

With two adapters, you can only have Internet access in one other room. The second adapter is needed, as you have correctly assumed, to enable Internet access. This is connected to the modem or the wifi box.

I have a modem with Rauter ARIS TG1652, unfortunately my WLAN connection with the TV Sony KD43XD8305 and DVD Home Theatre Sony BDV-N5200WB is unstable. Can I use this device without any problems or do I have to buy a faster device. Are there complications with the other devices smartphone, iPad etc.?

I have 5 adapters in operation. A Swisscom TV 2.0 box hangs on 2 of them. It worked for 1 year without any problems, but from one day to the next the boxes only work....Only 200 characters

I will answer myself. It works!! :D My building is from the 70's and I was suspicious is would work. Not only it is working but also very good, I receive the top speed of my internet connection, 100Mb/s. I'm very happy to be able to have the server in the Keller with no noise at home. I totally recommend this product for long range links.
