If I connect my devices to a Devolo dLan, then logically I no longer have wLan on my TV or whatever I want to connect. This means that the control via smartphone no longer works. Is that correct?

However, the devices do not communicate directly (smartphone <--> TV) with each other. Even if both communicate via WLAN, this is done via the router (smartphone <--> router <--> TV). Thus, as a rule, it does not matter whether:
Smartphone <--Wifi--> Router <--Wifi--> TV
or
Smartphone <--Wi--> Router <--LAN/dLAN--> TV
