In all likelihood, you will not find a powerline adapter that has a throughput of 250 MBits in practice (except for short distances). If I were you, I would buy at least a dLAN 1200+ (see also https://www.digitec.ch/de/amp-page/powerline-vergleich-2000-mbps-da-lachen-ja-die-huehner-7671).
They are supplied with the three-pin Swiss plug, as can be seen in picture two. I am extremely satisfied with the product. The speed is great (300 - 600 Mbit/s depending on the room and socket arrangements). I have set it up from the 1st to the second floor.
This should be compatible.
Ja passt.
I was asked to reply because I bought a DEVOLO 1200+ some time ago. Only I have a 30/30 line, not a 50/50. And the 30/30 comes through without any problems. With DEVOLO 1200+ I have a different problem: there are interruptions of up to one minute every now and then...
The search will help ;) Check this out: Devolo dLAN 1200+ WiFi Satellite (1200Mbps)

And as for power strips, about r years ago it throttled my data throughput to 5Mbps. In contrast, when I plugged the adapter directly into the socket, it could get a speed of 70Mbps. It's better to use a longer cable. And you can plug the powerline adapter quietly into the socket. And the data traffic does indeed go through the earth. It can be found in the specifications under "Ground wire technology: Yes".
Yes, as long as the switch itself is connected to the router.
What are the requirements for using dLAN®? Where are the limits? dLAN® works in the entire electrical wiring system of the house or flat, regardless of whether it is an old or new building. Of course, it must be a coherent wiring network, and it is also important to ensure that cable lengths do not exceed 300 metres. Different phases are not a problem, however. Electricity meters represent a large attenuation for the signal, but do not block it in every case.
Yes, it should be possible without any problems.
I think you should first request a replacement. If the product is still not running satisfactorily, you can effectively ask yourself whether the product is fundamentally flawed or simply not compatible with your home installation.
No, Wifi is only included in the Starter Kits which are labelled Wifi.
Works for me without any problems. As long as the power grid is good and the instructions are followed, the data rate is also very good (far above WLAN).
