Does the thing work even if the sockets are not on the same fuse group and possibly plugged into a power strip?

And as for power strips, about r years ago it throttled my data throughput to 5Mbps. In contrast, when I plugged the adapter directly into the socket, it could get a speed of 70Mbps. It's better to use a longer cable. And you can plug the powerline adapter quietly into the socket.
And the data traffic does indeed go through the earth. It can be found in the specifications under "Ground wire technology: Yes".

As far as I know, the 1200+ units also use the earth conductor for communication.
If it comes together in the main tableau, I'm not too worried (it only depends on the total distance).
If it goes further - i.e. beyond the electricity meter of the HAK - it is more of a problem.
