We have received clarification from the supplier: The software is different depending on the car and the car radio and therefore not on the adapter. You can search by car make, type, year of manufacture on the link below. Under Product group it should say DAB+ U and under Product variant DBU3GEN, under Compatible Yes. Then click on the eye at the top of the list and download the software. Then connect the Dension adapter to the PC and drag the software onto it (store it outside the two folders). ==> http://compat.dension.com/compatoriginal/ Then connect the device to the car radio via USB and scan the original car radio under Album/Titles. Also install the DAB antenna.

in principle yes... two points: 1. cable length could be short and 2. if there is a heating loop in the pane, i don't know if that has an influence on reception...
