I am not able to answer for sure but I think so because we are talking about programmable frequencies. Only Delonghi or a technician can answer this question. Or you can possibly find replacements for the original remote control on the Internet.

What do you mean by defrost mode? If it says LE on the display, according to manual page 36: "The appliance is equipped with a frost protection device to prevent excessive ice formation. Once the defrosting process is complete, the appliance restarts automatically." Either the environment is too cold (which I can't quite believe), or too damp that excessive ice is forming, or the temperature sensor is faulty.

I can't recommend the device to run overnight. It is still too loud for that, even in silent mode. In silent mode, only the ventilation level is at the lowest level, while the compressor runs at the same level. However, the cooling performance is quite good.

Just check the Swiss version of the Delonghi website for official service points in your area ;-) https://www.delonghi.com/de-ch... And then just give them a call. :-)

A refrigerator is warm on the outside at the back because it extracts heat from the inside. The unit here is nothing different, only the room air is blown through the cold part, which cools down. The warm air at the back has to go out to the room so that it is cooler in the room overall, yes. That's what the exhaust hose is for. More warm air should go out, so it can come back in through an open window. So make a hole in the window or the wall for the hose, or seal everything nicely... ;-)

Yes, the insert is included, it has a round adapter with rectangular constriction (15cm on constriction of 10.4 x 20.5cm), a round adapter with cover to install with screws (diameter with rim 18cm) and a two-piece rail with round adapter. The rail is adjustable from 73cm to a maximum length of 98cm and is 16cm wide (width is the width of the adapter ring).
