Hi. The keyboard is a Swiss-German layout. Battery life is very hard depending on what you are doing with which brightness. I recomend to go have a look on some professional test-reports on Notebookcheck. Generally, surfing with wlan it should last at least for 3h, maybe also 4h. But reaching more with minimum brightness and battery-saving mode is for sure also possible, but i didnt test that. Its a bery good laptop though for general Office usage. Greetz
