Unfortunately, we do not have the exact version information. We have different sources of supply here and the version can be different depending on the order. However, I would like to thank you for your advice and hope that we will optimise this process in the future to better distinguish between the individual versions.

Of course, you can also install only two bars. What is important is the assignment of banks 1 and 2 on the mainboard. It should also be taken into account that if the data of the memory bars are not identical, the overall performance of the "worse" memory bars is decisive.

It is best to check the manufacturer's number of the RAM modules via CPU-Z, because in the end it is not really the appearance that matters, but what chips are used with what frequency, latency and timings. In CPU-Z you will find the information under the tab SPD -> Part Number.

In principle, it is quite clear that the more RAM, especially for video editing, the better. But despite 32 Gbyte, my experience is that many programmes don't really work better or faster even then. But if you use Adobe Premiere, make sure to create proxy files. This will finally make it possible to edit 4k smoothly. It's a real "wow" experience, like "Well, if I had known that before...". But I still recommend the 32 GB RAM, because it's a huge advantage for all programmes. https://www.youtube.com/watch

Hi, You will find your answer at the manufacturer: Compatibility lists: https://www.asus.com/us... List for memory: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub... You can find the manufacturer's reference in the PDF: CMK64GX4M4A2666C16 The line is: CORSAIR CMK64GX4M4A2666C16 (Ver4.31) (XMP) 64GB ( 4x 16GB )DS--16-18-18-35 voltage 1.2 OK for 2 modules, OK for 4 modules. So according to their PDF : YES

Good day Fikus According to the specifications of the RAM currently installed and this, this should work without any problems. However, keep in mind that 2x 8GB are already installed with the same speed etc. and there are only 2 RAM slots on the board. So if your RAM is defective, these should work as replacements, but this will not give you an upgrade. If you need more RAM, you would have to upgrade to 2x 16GB.

Hello No, the RAM sticks you have there do not fit into any notebook. If you search for RAM on Galaxus, you can set the scope of application to notebook... Then you should take a look at your device, it probably only has one RAM slot, so a set of 2 RAM sticks won't do you any good. Furthermore, there is a 4gb RAM stick in the slot, and another 4gb are probably soldered on directly. RAM runs best in "dual channel" in that case 4gb and 4gb, though you can only swap the stick here, and if you have 4gb on one side and 16gb on the other, that may cause problems. Samsung M471A2K43CB1-CTD (1x, 16GB, DDR4-2666, SO-DIMM 260 pin) Extra tip: you need some tools to change the stick.
