I don't know. I just wanted to have 16GB for a normal PC for internet. I think the speed is overrated. The main thing is that it works. And you don't mix different types or brands together.

I'm using these very bars with a 2017 iMac 27″ Retina 5K. However, the system was unstable and the memory tests (MemTest86) were failing when they were installed in addition to the original strips (2x 4GB). I removed the latter and the problems disappeared. Hopefully this helps!

This product is not officially supported by the upgrade according to the manufacturer, it meets the specifications (speed, module type) so it can work but we cannot guarantee it. These two models are compatible upgrades according to their manufacturer (Crucial): - Crucial Notebook RAM Modules (1x, 8GB, DDR4-2666, 260-pin SO-DIMM) - Crucial CT8G4SFS824A (1x, 8GB, DDR4-2400, 260-pin SO-DIMM)](https://www.digitec.ch/fr/s1/product/crucial-ct8g4sfs824a-1x-8go-ddr4-2400-so-dimm-260-broches-memoires-vives-10092047)

As I read it, your laptop still has two slots free for So-Dimm RAM with 2400 clock speed. Accordingly, this RAM bar should fit. With my Asus laptop, everything worked and the RAM was recognised immediately.

Hello, the technical data is correct, but according to the HP site your notebook supports max 16GB = 2x 8GB. https://support.hp.com/ch-de/document/c05288253#AbT6

No, this product is not perfectly suitable, because your laptop supports RAM that runs at frequencies up to 2400/2666 Mhz. I recommend one of these products instead: - Corsair Vengeance (2x, 8GB, DDR4-2400, 260-pin SO-DIMM) - HyperX Impact (2x, 8GB, DDR4-2666, 260-pin SO-DIMM)](https://www.digitec.ch/fr/s1/product/hyperx-impact-2x-8go-ddr4-2666-so-dimm-260-broches-memoires-vives-6079865?tagIds=76) - Corsair Vengeance (2x, 16GB, DDR4-2400, SO-DIMM 260-pin)](https://www.digitec.ch/fr/s1/product/corsair-vengeance-2x-16go-ddr4-2400-so-dimm-260-broches-memoires-vives-5784604?tagIds=76) - Corsair Vengeance (2x, 16GB, DDR4-2666, SO-DIMM 260-pin)](https://www.digitec.ch/fr/s1/product/corsair-vengeance-2x-16go-ddr4-2666-so-dimm-260-broches-memoires-vives-5836568?tagIds=76)

yes it is Have the Xmg Ultra 17 (i9-9900k/rtx2080/2x32gb 3200mhz cl16 But you have to activate one of the xmp profiles in the bios (or in win). Note that in win, half the speed is usually displayed, why etc would take too long, so at 3200mhz it says 1600. I can recommend Crucial Ballistics or G-skill Ripjaws.
