Yes, they are connected in exactly the same way, the plugs are exactly the same. But be careful: you cannot connect both types of fans to one and the same RGB hub, otherwise there will be problems.
sali, the ML are very good to well suited for this. But if you can do without LEDs, take "bequiet" or "noctua".
