Yep, it's running smoothly for me
just try to check all the connections. as long as everything is connected properly and you have set everything up correctly, it should run without the problems described.
So plug all the rgb connectors into the rgb hubs and all the fan cables into the comander.
and of course connect the node core to the comander pro and the comander pro to the mainboard and sata connector if I remember correctly. then it should work.
Don't bother, you already have enough cables in your PC why cram any more in. The length was still enough for every case...

I agree with the answer here. You can run 12 synchronously with two Corsair hubs. But I only use 6 myself. But meanwhile 4 of them already have LED errors. LED errors that always show a different colour. Digitec takes them back, but the removal is tedious and I don't want to do it. In addition, you can read on the internet that the error could come back.

Unfortunately, this only works with the LianLi fans. With Corsair, you have to work with Commander Pro/Core controllers, which are limited to 6 fans per device (remember to have enough USB headers or use the Commander Pro, which has 2 additional USB headers).
Yes, with the Commander Core you can control RGB and the speed of the QL fans.

The Lighting Node Core is included in the scope of delivery. This can also be seen in the pictures. In contrast to the RGB hub, the Node Core has a USB connection.

Try looking at this link from the Corsair forum, you may find out how to connect your fans. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page you will see all the possible variants depending on the number of fans.

First, plug the fans into the lightning node in order. Then you have to plug them into a "pwm fan switch" with three outputs. You can buy this crossover on digitech. Then plug it into a connector on the mainboard. When the pc is running, download the corsair ique software and the pc will automatically recognise the fans. Click on the lightning node and you're done.

Yes, an RGB controller is included in the set. You don't need to order anything extra unless you plan to install more than six fans. You don't need a "JCORSAIR1" connector, or at least I didn't have one on the mainboard. You just need a free USB port on the mainboard, a SATE power cable and somehow you have to connect the fans to the mainboard. If your mainboard doesn't have three connectors for "FAN_CHA" i.e. chassis fans, I advise you to first find out about so-called 4-pin PWM fans Y-splitters. I use this one EKWB EK-Cable Y-splitter for 3x 4-pin PWM fans (10cm) but I ordered it directly from the manufacturer because Digitec once again charges an absurd amount of "Schweizhochpreisinsel"-surcharge for it. A cable like this including shipping will cost you less than 10€ on the manufacturer's website (including 7€ shipping) and if you order more stuff at the same time, the shipping costs are rather okay.
But if you need it quickly, you can order it for the higher price at Digitec.

No, this set does not include a Commander Pro but a Lighting Node Core. This can only control the LEDs but not the fan speed.

I am running 9 QL fans on a mainboard USB...
The prerequisite is that you either:
- Corsair Commander Pro (you have to connect all the fans somewhere).
-> I use 2 Commander Pro and 2 Lightning Node Pro to be able to address each of the 9 fans and 5 LED strips individually. You can connect the Commander Pros "in series" and the Lightning Nodes Core and LED strips to the LED connections of the Commander Pro. I have everything on 1 USB header of the mainboard. Works perfectly.

- PWM and RGB splitter cable, then they run on the same channel.
For the power supply, yes. But for the RGB, no, totally incompatible. The only Corsair products that Asus Aura can control are a couple of RAM sticks. Details here: https://www.asus.com/campaign...
In addition, the QL are particularly sophisticated in this respect (and therefore so beautiful) - it would be a shame not to control them with iCue.

No, you can't. Corsair products have a proprietary connection or control anyway.
Of course, the RAM modules are the exception here, as they are compatible with almost all software, as Alisot200 has already said.
There is an MSI motherboard that has this connector on the board and allows it to control the Corsair products, but that is the only exception I know of.
And yes, iCUE is compatible with some ASUS mainboards, but this leads to some disadvantages if the mainboard is controlled via iCUE.
The ARGB effect disappears completely and the graphics card (even if it is from Asus ROG) cannot be controlled.
