I have also worked with the Arctic LF II.
Top should only get in the way if the mainboard has thick structures. But I didn't try it because I wanted the Radi as the Intake from the start.
I actually wanted to do side-intake. Unfortunately, this is not possible with the Arctic, unless you leave out the cover at the bottom front. Unfortunately, this looks relatively modest on the one hand and on the other hand it might not be very conducive to the airflow.
It's about 2-3 millimetres that the Arctic is too thick.
But the front intake is not a problem. The hoses downwards also work this way, but they do bump minimally against the bottom, but it's bearable. I have it mounted as a push, pull would give the hoses even more space but hm, I just found it somehow more chic that way.
I then have the classic side intake and top and rear exhausts.
Temperatures are wonderful this way and the PC is virtually inaudible except when gaming.
