I'm currently putting together a major upgrade kit, and I'd like to use the Be quiet! dark rock pro 4. Mainly because it's such a huge block, and I can run it very quietly, and because it looks cool. The case I have in mind would be the Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 5 (Midi Tower), the specified cpu cooler height is max. 160mm, and the dark rock pro 4 has 162.8 mm. I just don't know how exactly the case is measured, or whether there would still be some room for manoeuvre. I don't think the motherboard plays a role, but it would be an MSI X470 Gaming Pro (AM4, AMD X470, ATX).

It would probably fit, but I wouldn't risk it. I'd rather go for a less tall CPU cooler.

What about the airflow and the front flap when I mount 2-3 fans at the front? I read about problems recently. Has anyone had any experience with this?

I wouldn't buy this enclosure again, it's really nice, but it doesn't have a mounting option for an optical drive and I had to put the side panel on spacer bolts, otherwise it gets much too warm in the enclosure. The enclosure is not equipped for additional fans.

Hey I am building my first pc and still need a case. My configuration: i3 8100, z370 a pro, gtx 1060 6gb, 2x4 gb ram, 1tb hdd, 500w psu and a wifi card. How is the cable management?

First of all, the case offers a lot of space for cm... 2. don't get a z370 mainboard, or then an i3 8350k, you can't overclock the 8100, the z370 is not maxed out... 3. why a wifi card, do you want to travel with your pc...? 4. an ssd would not be bad 5. with this case you would need 2 120 fans to have a good ventilation... I saw your post where you said that you want to build a pc for about 900.-, I assume you want to use the case for that... if so, then you have a solid case with that... I can see what is possible for 900.-... can answer again...
