There is no i7-7600k... do you mean the 7700k or the i5-7600k ? If you go purely by the TDP of 91w, the cooler is sufficient. For me, however, it would be far too small and therefore neither cool nor quiet enough. In addition, it's a K-CPU, so you might want to overclock. That's why I would go for something like the Thermalright Macho, even if it's almost twice as expensive - it's simply the much better cooler. Alternatively, the BeQuiet Pure Rock or an Alpenföhn Brocken 2. The Cooler Master is fine for smaller CPUs and if you manually throttle the speed a bit. But I wouldn't use it for a kaby Lake system.
I chose this cooler because the temperature in Costa Rica is > 30 degrees all year round. At the moment, daytime temperatures are 36 - 38 degrees. The cooler is running on a QuadCore Intel i7-4790K and has had no problems with it until today.
