Questions about Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

I read the questions here carefully but somehow everyone says something different. I have now bought an AM4 Ryzen 7 and don't want to "throw away" my old cooler. Online it says that I have to have such a kit (metallic scissors thing). But this is included in the included in the scope of delivery. On the CM page it says that the cooler also comes with mounting accessories for the AM3 socket. Is that not the case with the package here or why is that not stated in the description?
