I've been using the module for a while now and I would have said from my gut that it's far too "big" for a speaker alone and would probably drown it out.

It works flawlessly and the sound is very good 👍 I can really recommend it
no, unfortunately not. the 500 can only be controlled with the new app. but the 700 module works great with all soundtouch devices.
