As far as I have seen, the LED strips from your ROG terminal have 3 pins (+, -, signal). The LED strips here are 4 pins (12v, r, g, b) so I would say no, they are not compatible.

Yes it is possible you have 3 RGB connectors on your motherboard and you just need to use the aura sync software to change the colours.

Yes, but you need an asus board with aura sync or the bitfenix controller.

It doesn't look like it. There is no such 4-pin connector on the motherboard on the specification page: https://www.asus.com/ch-de/Motherboards/970-PRO-GAMING-AURA/specifications/ or in the manual. The board itself has a few LEDs but no additional connector.
