It depends on how big you want the picture to be. I use the beamer occasionally (club events) on a 220 cm wide screen. The distance to the lens is 150 cm. For an image about 130 cm wide, it would be about 90 cm. You can go even closer, but then there are problems with the keystone, which can no longer be compensated for on the projector, i.e. the projector must then be set up higher and interferes with the view of the picture. This is not the case with rear projection - which requires a special screen as well as the reflection of the image, and this beamer can do that (Menu Settings // Rear Table). I am very satisfied with the beamer. It also does a good job of projecting when the room is not totally dark. Have fun and best regards ohavideo
