Unfortunately, we can't tell you why this doesn't work. The requirements would be at least Android 4.3 or iOS 7.0, but I'll be happy to post it in the community, maybe a user can help you :)

What is great about the BEAMIE boards is that the loudspeaker tells you that your battery is running low. If you ignore the announcements, the BEAMIE slows down towards the end of the battery capacity. If you then continue to ignore, it will coast to a stop...but will eventually start to "stutter"....as you really have to ignore all warnings ;o) In the meantime, there are also very strict guidelines in Germany and a premium manufacturer like BEAMIE is not allowed to make such mistakes. P.S. with horny music played over the loudspeaker, you are always an eye-catcher on the street ;o)
