Hello, To fix this fan you need to remove the motherboard and install the bracket provided at the back which replaces the original bracket. I installed this fan 3 days ago and all the metal and plastic support screws depending on the type of processor you have should be included in the package. If this is not the case, I advise you to contact Digitec.

Should theoretically work: The TDP of the CPU is 125W and the cooling capacity of the cooler (according to BeQuiet) is 130W. So rather close. Since the 11600K is a "K" model (freely selectable multiplier) and thus OC (overclocking) is possible, I would rather dimension the cooler higher.

Hello This cannot actually be the case. The decisive factor is the CPU socket type and whether the fan fits it. According to the description of the CPU, it requires socket LGA 1151, which is also supported by the fan. Therefore it should fit. Therefore, the first question: Is the CPU correctly installed? If yes: Have you mounted or tried to mount the fan correctly? This differs depending on the socket (or the manufacturer of the CPU). Please follow the instructions.

I use the cooler on an AMD board. The corresponding mounts are included, you just have to replace the mounted Intel mounts. I never ran the cooler under full load (large case with a lot of air inside), you can hardly hear it.

The fan should be enough. However, it is best to buy a thermal compound and apply it alternatively to the one supplied. I would also run the fan on your 9990k at a higher speed, which you can set in the bios to achieve the best possible cooling result. I have installed this fan myself and it is really very quiet in operation.

Hi, no, there is no backplate. The fan is simply inserted into the holes provided with the help of push pins. A kind of clamp. The cooler weighs only 358 grams and the contact pressure on the CPU is also OK. Since it still requires some force, I can only recommend mounting with a tool, as this prevents you from slipping off.
