I have a 4G router from TP-Link with a corresponding SIM card with a fixed monthly data allowance (e.g. 150GB). Can I connect this router to the Asus router via LAN cable or does this only work with an Asus router?

You can connect the TP-Link 4G router to the ASUS router via a LAN cable. The ASUS router supports connection via LAN, but it does not have an integrated 4G modem function. You can use the TP-Link router as a backup Internet connection by connecting it to the ASUS router via a LAN cable. Hello Adrian 1974 No, you don't have to. I have 3 devices in a mesh network via WiFi. The devices also use a separate channel for this. However, it is important that the devices have a good connection - i.e. the positioning is relevant.

A more general question: I have the swisscom internet box wall-mounted in my hallway, it provides wifi and tv. My office is in a bedroom on the other side of the house. This distance is not so large, but there is much concrete in between. Is this Asus AX6600 a suitable way to bring much better wifi strength to my office - or do I need a pair of them, or...?
