I use it on a PC and am not a Mac specialist, but the driver for Mac OS exists at the manufacturer. So it should work... If not, you still have our friend Internet who has almost all the answers 😉 Happy holidays

It depends on how far away you are from the router and what else is in between, such as a wall.
However, I would recommend something else, for example: ASUS USB-AC68 (USB 3.0, 1300Mbit/s, 600Mbit/s)
Hi. I don`t think that you will gain much performance. Probably it makes more sense to use an wlan extender of your existing network?
It can't... 866 Mbit/s is only the maximum gross data rate of the wifi module in the stick, which you would never reach even with the best line of sight... Expect a maximum of 200-300 Mbit/s with a line-of-sight connection, probably less.
